Recent purchase. Fits in Eagle stock pack. Has a bottle opener. I haven't had a chance to run it through the paces yet as the brown truck just dropped it off. Could possibly be the ultimate utility knife. Blade came shaving sharp. I know it is only 420 steel, not the highest quality, but is very easy to sharpen. I am not sure of the quality for hard use but it seems well made. Did I mention it has a bottle opener. I ordered this from Foxknives USA.

The funny thing is Michigan Knives has a similar version of this knife for a little cheaper. I called his listed number for 2 weeks and never got an answer. Sent an email, which he returned, and said he would call me. He didn't so I sent him another email. and he referred me to Foxknives USA. I guess he didn't want to sell any knives. I would stay away from him. If you have ordered from him in the past and have had a different experience feel free to post it here.

When I called Foxknives they were awesome. Immediately they offered a 20% discount. Was shipped the next day. I received it in 4 days from Washington to Tennessee. This is a heads up for a interesting product that I thought some of you may enjoy.

Re: Fox Rescue Knives

By the way, I am in no way affiliated with Foxknives. I will gain nothing by posting this. I just love gadgets.

Actually I made a mistake. Blade is not 420, description of blade material is on website.

Re: Fox Rescue Knives

I have had trouble with Michigan Knives returning phone calls, however, I have purchased from Michigan Knives over the internet with rapid shipping and good results.

I think it is a good resource, but the owner has another job and only does the knives on the side.

Excellent selection of hard to find stuff.

Re: Fox Rescue Knives

You can open a bottle with any knife. Just hold the neck of the bottle near the cap and pry the cap off with the back of the blade by turning the blade.

Re: Fox Rescue Knives

Never been a place I couldn't find a bottle opener.

In fact if you walk the upper catwalks on any barracks at Lejuene you will see little "half-moon" scratches on the rail. The only tricky part was not letting the cap hit the deck.

A bottle opener is pretty low on the pocket knife needs list. Then again I get quite a bit of mileage out of my LaRue 'Dillo at home. I just don't feel like tearing up my counters.

Re: Fox Rescue Knives

I know sarcasm doesn't show up on the net. The bottle opener was supposed to be sarcastic. This really is one hell of a knife/multi-tool. The tools are really usable and it all fits in a Eagle stock pack. Just take another look. It might change your minds.
