I have a 300blk with 8.2” Noveske that I plan to work a load down to subsonic velocities. Once a subsonic load is established & bullet is not yawing, the rifle will be suppressed. Does anyone have an idea on a rough number of the fps boost gained once suppressed? I would like to account for the increase due to suppression to remain subsonic…

Thanks.

The last time I used a chronograph it was with in 25 fps or less with super sonic ammo. Knowing that subsonic has lower chamber pressures I would imagine it would be less of a spread. Not sure of your location but as long as you could keep it around 1k fps you should be good to go.
