the info out of my manual with that powder and bullet is running right around 2600 to 2675 fps out of a 24 inch barrel with a 1-10 twist

I would guess around 2700-2750. But you never know until you shot it through a chrono or zero'd at 100 and shot it at long range.
If you're trying to figure come-ups, print out several drop charts in 25 fps increments. I'd start in the middle with 2700 as a base, and go 75 fps above and below, and one of those should get you on.

quickload says in the realm of 2725fps at an COL of 2.8 if you work up to a load of 45.9 as a max load you should be able to bring that into the realm of 2850fps within saami spec

what is your recomendation to move up in load development

When I'm looking for a max load I don't step more than .3gr at a time generally. Some stuff at most a half grain, but not in 308.

well i loaded some ammo last nite
2 rounds each

44.5g
45g
45.5g
46g
46.3g
so i will test them out tonight see if i can see any signs of preassure according to varget web site i should be safe up to 47g
hopefully i don't blow myself up

Im running 46.1 grains of varget under a 155smk (not the new palma), and Im getting right around 2700 out of a 20 inch factory spsT barrel. COAL of 2.825

I run 46.5gr Varget with the same bullet, I am using Hornady match brass which has a larger volume I believe. I get 2720fps in the same type rifle.

i shot my bullets and no pressure signs
so varget web site said 47grain max
i want to shoot as fast as i can
how much do i go up in my load development. right now i'm @ 46.3
should i go up im .1 increments or what do you sugest???
