Frangible .224 bullets?

Does anyone have a good source for frangible .224 bullets in the 55-62gr range? I am looking for something to use on steel at closer ranges.

You're not likely to find frangible bullets in the 55- 62 grain weights, since frangible bullets by their nature are lighter in weight than lead counterparts. Here's some 50 grainers. You're going to need a 1/7-1/9 twist rifle for these.

You might want to look for Barnes Varmint Grenades as an option to consider. Sinterfire? is a manufacturer of their line of frangible bullets.

I bought a batch of 55gr Sinterfire frangibles about 10 years ago. Don't know if they're still around.
