Thank you. I’m looking more into the secrecy of both groups, the connection with Jesus, symbols, and kept secrets regarding the United States and such

If you watch the show "Curse of Oak Island " on History, they've referenced several books, authors, and historians on the possible Templar connection to the island. I have one book, but I'd have to look at it for the name. That show could be a possible source for the type you're looking for.

On that I can’t help as a Master Mason if you want to know the secrets you can go and do the work to become a mason. You can go to any lodge and talk to one of Master Masons as you probably know quite a few and ask for an application

I am a Master Mason an a Knight Templar, sounds like your asking questions there is only one way to find out, as previously stated. Start at your blue lodge an continue on the path. Otherwise you might read the book Born in Blood by John J Robinson.
