As a french police officer, I read all that and I'm not sure you 've all understood what happened here.
Sure he was a bastard, sure I knews death was the only way for him to meet the virgins but you're newspapers have forgotten a great things.
Here in France we are in a troubled period of presidential election. Order was given to the RAID to catch him alive cos it could have been a good thing for the actual president Sarkozy.
That's the first thing for what it's been so long. If members of the RAID could have done the job quickly, be sure they have done it.
So the shooting was hard and loud (300 rounds fired in 7 minutes)and the bastard escaped by his balcony (he lived the 1st floor) and was killed by a sniper while in the street (the inside police investigation service is searching from what weapon is the bullet but pretty sure is a sniper fire).

It was good police work in getting him as quick as the police services did. Possibly less so for the security services if he was under surveillance as media reports here have reported.Since he brother was also arrested perhaps they can learn something useful from him

A few years ago France was having issue and a head count showed the country was 40% muslim and people were panicking.
You open up your country and traditions and you should expect the new citizens will bring their traditions WITH Them...and sooner or later they outnumber you.
Doesn't matter if it's Islam, Liberalism, or Catholicism...
