Gentlemen,

Some of you may have read about it online or saw it on espn...A dear friend of mine, Caleb Moore suffered a horrible crash at the Winter X Games over the weekend. He's in critical condition and his future is uncertain. If you have a few extra bucks, were raising money to help with the family's hospital bills. Anything will help, even if it's just your prayers. For you north Texas shooters, it might hit a little close to home - he grew up in Krum, Texas of all places.

Thanks,

Cory

Re: Friend in need

I fell bad for him but what did he think was going happen to him eventually? Why would others donate so he can be reckless and get paid for it? It would be like me skiing off of cliffs and then being unprepared for the consequences.

I hope he fully recovers. However, I think people dealt a bad hand unexpectedly will get my donations. Best wishes to him and to you for trying to help him.

Re: Friend in need

I heard about it and it sucks but you've gotta pay to play. After four nasty get-offs, I gave up motorcycle racing. Hope he gets better and will at least live and hopefully walk but like anyone in an extreme sport, he knows the risks.

Re: Friend in need

I heard on the AM news that this Dude lost the battle and died. RIP
The dangers are inherent and they know that going in especially at the level he was competing in.
I raced motorcycle flat track back in the late 60-70 period and I always knew what the dangers were. I knew when to get out of it too. Squaw and a kid. I hope he left no one behind depending on him to bring home the bacon. Regards, FM
