Walked into the gun store here in Grants Pass, home of Noveske and this came through the door a 1/2 hour before. Apparently the barrel maker at Noveske built it because he could. Put 400 rounds through it to prove what it would do.
26" 6.5 twist 3 grove Pac Nor Barrel made for USAF, N4 reciever, extended rifle gas system, Voltor Mur upper, Voltor Bipod, 14" SWS handguard, Noveske BCG, Magpul PRS stock, grip, and 20rd mag. Needless to say it left with me. Now for glass and load development. Said 80-90 grain would work best.

10-4, I didn't notice that. I saw 6.5 and assumed it was the caliber. I bet that thing hums some 77 SMK's or better yet some 70 grain Bergers. We need a range report!

Re: From Noveske that you don't see everyday

Just got some 69 smk to see accuracy from mag fed and some 77 amax and 80 smk to single feed and try some long range accuracy. Let the testing begin and I'll be back with range reports.

Re: From Noveske that you don't see everyday

So...that's a 14 inch handguard and the gas block is beyond that. That is cool. I bet it's a soft impulse. Nice find.

I don't like to single load Ar15. That isn't what they are there for me. I would try the Hornady 75hpbt or Sierra 77gr at mag length. 80gr is to long.

Re: From Noveske that you don't see everyday

Hey Bryce
Looks like the 80smk and 75AMAX need to single feed. The 69 SMK can goto mag length. Do you know the if the 77 sierra will seat to mag length? If so are you talking SMK?. I agree, don't want to single feed, I have my bolt guns for that. I do want to get a heavy pill to take advantage of length and twist for longer ranges

Re: From Noveske that you don't see everyday

Yes there are loads for the 77SMK. It is what the black hills uses. The Berger would be another great choice. I have not shot the Burger OTM but Berger is a better bullet than a Sierra if you gun likes them. 77 grain at mag length is the heaviest you are going to get.
If you stay with a bullet no longer than 1" and stay away from the VLD bullets under 80gr you can load them to mag length.
I like Hornady 75 because my Rock River 24" varmint likes them. Plus the price is nice if you are shooting a lot.

Figured I'd come back and update this thread. After developing a load for this rifle I have come to realize an AR platform can be a longer range steel hitting machine. This rifle is spot on to 700 yds and capable out to 900 yds but is running out of steam since it barely moves a hanging saw blade. I,ve also done a few changes.

That's wicked! Contrats sir.

I have a 24" .223 upper that I've not yet even shot. I also have a 24" 20 practical and it's a tack driver. A long barrel + good ammo is a blast.

Cool to see this back up. What load and velocity?

I settled on Horady's 75 bthp match so I could mag feed it. 21.5 Varget getting 2499 ft/sec OAL 2.260. I had good results on the 80 amax and could stack them in a hole at 100 but had to single feed em and I have bolt guns for that. Still impresses me that an AR can hold 1 moa and under from a 100 to 600 yards.

I was so impressed with how it shot that I had John build me a little brother before he passed away and all this kaos started. 300 blk 10.2 sbr that is a blast to shoot. Gotta realize I was a bolt guy before the Noveske bug hit me, so AR platform is new to me. All the other ARs I ever shot were pos bushmaster's and such that were spray and pray only.
