I'm running a Premier 3-15 (which I really love) with a sunshade and a Butler Creek front cap that has never worked. It always pops open. Even sitting here at my desk I can't get it to stay down. Is there a better option out there?

And does anyone run a cat tail on this optic and if so which one do you prefer? I don't so much have the need to change magnification in the middle of shooting a string like in 3 gun but often times I like to zoom out to acquire targets and then zoom back in and the way it is I have a hard time doing so without coming off the scope. Thinking a cat tail might make it easier to adjust while staying in it.

Do you want the original PR lens cover that mounts on the outside of the scalloped ring? You can get those at ATI 888-670-6384.
As far as a cat tail there are a few out there that fit our product but I don't have any personal experience with them but as long as it fits your needs I would say it would be fine.
Thanks,
Paul

The original Tenabraex caps that come with the scope are perfect.... unless your scope is close to kissing your barrel.

It would be nice if someone made a decent switchview for Premier scopes.

I really liked the original PR cover. Without digging for it in my gun room to check, I believe it wouldn't mount to the sunshade for some reason, I want to say due to the lack of scalloped ring.
