Sidearms & Scatterguns front strap checkering

I am interested in having the front strap checkered on my kimber. Can anyone give suggestions as to who does this and what the going rate is ?

There's a smith right out of Arkansas city Ks that did mine,he does a lot of smithing for the guys that shoot ISPC in that area and his work on mine and others I've seen is first rate. I had mine done 20 lines per inch and it was $200 but that's been about five years ago. I'll look tomorrow and see if I can't find his business card and get back with you
