mind posting a side-by-side of the 2 and 3 pos versions? just curious what they've got going on. having a 3-position unit that works with a quality 2-stage trigger is something I've been looking forward to

The three position comes with a trigger and the safety. The two position is the little drop-in device that sits in the upper and interfaces with the trigger. No other parts. You can purchase one to use with a mil spec or several other triggers including Geissele SSA series. On his page, it'll be the "redacted" trigger as Geissele sent them a cease and desist on using their name on his page or in association with his product. So every time you see "redacted" on his page, that's code for works with Geissele, LOL.
I have the Geissele "redacted" version which works with SSA and SSA-E from my testing. Thing is, it does remove feel from the trigger so even though you have a Geissele in there, it doesn't feel like it. Yes, it's still FAR better than anything else I've tried. We'll see how the Atrius and the AS Designs do. The Atrius requires a mil spec trigger but the AS Designs seems to work with a broader array of triggers and you can see a full list HERE. The Geissele does need a "cut" to work. I'll test out one before purchasing more.

Some folks have AR22s working with super safety's, they tend to be finicky. I haven't personally been able to get my RTB 9" upper running reliably but others have.

so instead of modifying the "nugget" they just made a selector barrel that disengages the cam arm somehow? a picture of what's going on there would answer a few questions that I was left wondering that the website information didn't answer.
I do like the fact it's a separate unit from the trigger.
I actually had the same question as well since I already own the two position. Some of the magic is in the actual safety/mode selector though so it's not as simple as getting a "raw" two position and then filing the extension down to the right dimension.
I do think the shape of the disconnector and back of the trigger matters which is why it only works with some but not all Geissele triggers. My original thought was to get an unmodified two position and use the safety I had on hand. But that doesn't appear to work from the safety perspective as the barrel/cams are different from what he supplies. I'm guessing the safety he supplies doesn't allow or moves the extension out of play during normal semi-auto and then allows it to work during super semi.
I got back out to the indoor range that allows for full auto firearms to function tests today and it does indeed work in FRT mode (Arizona 3 position). Trigger's a bit heavy and will necessitate some training but it was fairly easy to control with the POF P415 which is on the heavier side of things for a 12.5" rifle and a suppressor hanging off the end.
Edit: If I have time, I'll try using the Arizona safety in the rifle that currently has the two position and a Geissele SSA trigger to see if it'll function.

The trigger feel is getting better with use and a bit of dry fire. It has an audible and tactile wall in semi-auto that's actually usable. In FRT mode, there's no wall but the grittiness is gone. Still has quite a bit of initial travel which I suspect, means very little in real world usage.
