Fun with tracers

[Super Bee 950]

I had a good time over the weekend doing some night fire. I was using my AR10-T with a Shark Supressor, and a 3-9X Leupold Mark AR. My spotter was using a PVS14. The steel target was 400 yards away.

Orange tips?

I have a handful of orange tips but yours seem to burn out really quick compared to how long the orange tipped one I have whihc burn for a long time.

I was going to say the same thing. They seem to burn out pretty quick

Nice at least we got rain so you could. Last time we shot steel over here we had a grass fire start from a round at 500 down range.

I know the target was at 400 but on the shots where the round missed the target the tracer burned out just as quick. Are they orange tips or something else?

Behind the target was a berm, so when I missed it was 410 yards. I was using a Leupold 3-9X Mark AR. The rounds were orange tip.

The rifle was an AR10-T Carbine. One like this, but with a cheap scope...

Yeah that'll make a tracer burnout real quick. Cool video. Would be cool to see a video from down-range.
