Not sure if mules and donkeys are close in behavior or not. My relatives had a mule when we were growing up. That damn thing was evil. Would try and kick you off the horses if you were riding. Or come up and bite you if you weren't paying attention.

Mules can be downright onry. We had a couple of mammoth Jacks on the UU Bar that we used for various chores. These were big animals and liked to screw with you when you were harnessing up or being shod. When putting a harness on them they would try to stomp your feet or bite you. You learn to never turn your back to them when close and never walk behind one.

I’m not sure I’d use that camping grill while hanging from the cliff wall 😂

Its a Jetboil system. Pretty common.

Used hanging in tents with doors unzipped a bit for CO a lot in mountaineering too.

Now that I am old n fat, I keep my butt on the ground and cook over a fire or with propane. Which helps keep @1J04 away as he is skeered of propane......

Well, I don’t want to clutter the thread again with medical woes...

I feel I’m 95% recovered from C19 but I have a large kidney stone.

Dr. Is trying to get me in for an ultrasound. Y’all pray if you’re a praying person. I have had 2 smaller ones over 10 years ago but this one may have first began to hurt me about 2 years ago on and off. My doc is worried it’s on the move and could cause me real trouble.

But here’s A pic...

Had to get a new circular polarizer and messed around with it last weekend.

All taken at my place in NC mountains with D700 and 28-70 f/2.8 with NOS Japanese Luminesque circular polarizer.

Great pictures. Why did you choose that cpl? I went with the breakthrough photography x4 cpl but haven't played with it yet.

Hope you do better with the kidney stones. My mom has had them. Also I've heard they're as bad as having a baby. You ready for your 3rd kid that you've had yourself?

The liberal left piss me right off! If they believe in socialism so much (and believe it is go good), why don't they go and live in a socialist country? Because socialism sucks, that's why. I am sure that they would be allowed to act as above in their beloved socialist country (NOT)!

Ive had stones back to back for 30 years. A moving stone is a good thing. Dont even mess around with ultrasound. Request a spiral ct. Get the size....if under 5mm youll pass it. Over that, just shoot yourself.....as the alternatives suck. Lithotripsy works good, removal is the fastest route, but the stent part SUCKS!!! Had one removed in Nov. My uterers are so damaged and hard with scar tissue they didnt have to put in. A stent. It was 9mm and it was a lot of pain before removal. Fuck i hate stones. Drink as much water as you can....drink drink drink. Itll push it or stop it, then you can just deal with it.

My mother suffered from kidney stones and the last time they did a procedure called ESWL. It crushes the stone into minimal sizes and it's much easier to pass these instead of a single large one.

Luminesque is a made in Japan with Stott glass piece, it is old school high quality. I owned a BW a few years ago when I put away my cameras (wedding work will do that after a while) and gave it to my nephew.

I saw the new but old stock Luminesque on eBay and jumped on it. BW quality for under $30. Newer Luminesque are Chinese so make sure before you buy.

Water pic was handheld and shutter speed was sslloowwwww, amazing it looks that good.

Yes, had 2 stones about a year apart 10+ years ago and passed them in under 24 hours.

My primary doc is a super smart Indian lady, she says the pain I had a couple of years ago is likely this same stone. It possibly moved inside the kidney but stopped and has been waiting and growing. I had 2 attacks last week that put me in the fetal position whimpering like a little gurl (unless you’ve experienced it, you’ll never understand) but then the pain went away. I figured I had a stone and it passed into the bladder.

Then Monday it began again and I have had a dull to screaming pain ever since, left side behind my lower center left ribs.

I have a stock of good meds and rum so I’ll be ok but it surely sucks.
