No great reason. Tough to get one that's not tore up...or still full of bees. Built on that dead-end insulator makes it kinda cool and rare. It'll hang in our bull room.
In Belize we were shown the chicle trees and told how Wrigley gum ran big operations there. “Chicle” is a Mayan word for that tree and where Chiclets gum got the name.
Issued them for duty use as Marine Security Guard.

One of the things I miss most about living in Hawaii. I caught those things like clockwork and they taste really good.
Don't know much about hornets but I've heard you want to let a nest get frozen solid hard before you bring it inside and get it warmed up.
Hornets can track a rock back to the thrower from 30 ft away. If you mow into a nest that's hidden under the ground branches of a spruce tree you should leave the motor running to distract a few from chasing you. Those two I'm sure of.

Guilty of Treeson (traveling arborist) went with Game of Trees (Kevin Hamm master arborist) down to Guatemala to teach scientists how to climb trees for science. Kevin has been involved with it for around 20 years.
They can track a Frisbee from 60 feet, back to the thrower, in a yard full of kids. Or....so I've heard. They could in the late 70s anyway.
