Well, there was a '55 Chevy...but it crashed. Love the soundtrack.
Grew up framing with my dad. Brilliant carpenter. Running things mathematically and stuff clicked in place. We’d read stuff out in decimals to stay entertained and direct input into a calculator…. It was fun .. in high school I worked for another contractor on a few projects and was calling out measurement to one of his ex con workers 96 5/8, half, 3/4 and when I said 13/16, you’ve thought I was speaking a different language. He froze up, looked like he had an aneurysm, then finally said “we don’t do 1/16ths”… I’ll never forget the look on his face…

I had a scout with a 304 and 3 spd on the floor w/granny 1st. That thing never quit running. Drum brakes all four corners, one mechanic told me he’d pay to tow it to my house rather than let me drive after I refused his exorbitant estimate.
