My parents gave me my first radio when I was six in 1964. It was an AM transistor radio. When I turned it on and tuned in a station they were playing Petula Clark singing "Downtown."
Every time I hear that song it brings back memories.
I saw one standing up on it's hind legs a few years back. Not sure if someone propped it up or if a snow plow was responsible. Definitely got my attention either way!
