Did this cause the leak, or is this a "temporary" fix for the leak?
Just asking cause I've seen both before...
I've had a couple half cabs Scout ll's over the years. The fake one above looks good....but just looks off. Close but definitely AI. Love the paint scheme though!
Yes and no.
It wasn't an intentional temporary fix, but it sealed itself going in and didn't leak so we left it alone.
Same tire also had a couple nails in it that didn't leak so we kept running it until yesterday when we noticed blisters forming along the inside bead.
Another Vector picked up a deer antler in the field last week.
The driver tried pulling it out hoping it hadn't gone through but it started leaking so he drove it back in until it stopped and sawed the rest off.

Deer shed through a tractor tire… well I never!!!
Cool (temp) fix though! Tractor tires are spendy. Hope that was somehow patchable but suspect not!

You'd be surprised how often this happens.
Got one hung in a cracked harrow disc years ago.
Never did manage to get it loose so I sawed it off on both sides as close to the disc as possible and ran it like that until the winter when we overhauled the harrow.
My son sends me pics quite often of an antler stuck in a one on his skidder tires.....
They're so thick till an antler seldom punctures it.
A little Loctite would have prevented that
I had to change a 18.4-38 inside dual in the middle of a plowed field in August or September, all because of sheered bolts on a plow point from the previous spring. I was mad, but it was ultimately my own doing. I looked for the sheered point that spring, but was off by about 20ft.
While the jetsons didn’t nail the flying car prediction, they did perfectly capture the puttering sound of the bmw boxer engine in 1250 GS Adv bikes.
Imagine when she gets a kid and that nose resurfaces.
For $11K, she could have gotten AI to do a better job of that ear...
