I worked at a Kmart as a kid for a while. Until one night when I was working and a tornado destroyed the store with me in it!
I was in high-school in the 90s. I had a buddy who's first car was a 75 Olds delta 88. That fool could drive!. He had 70's boats as long as I knew him after. At least 20 years.
75 Olds 88 is the poster child of land barges.

My buddies 85 y/o dad with a turkey bird he killed at my place yesterday (Friday) morning.
I was in Boston Back Bay Friday with my Ram 3500... Wouldn't fit in any parking garages... so I found a meter spot just around the block... And parallel parked it right in! My hitch was about 2" from the Lexus behind me. But never touched! Harder to find change for the meter than to park the thing. Yes, parallel parking is a Boomer-X-er Skill!!!!

lol No you don’t. That’s just the preferred way to get home. It’s entirely possible to have to pay to be heli-rescued and get your “bike” shipped back home wadded into a little ball

Ok, if you are Ewen McGregor or Charlie Boorman on a docu-thingie... Yeah, you can be heli-rescued.
