After a West-Pac in ‘74 I headed home to Arkansas . I found out that my ride from Little Rock to my AO wouldn’t be there.
My Hot seat mate lived in Dallas and could sense my angst and offered to put me up at her crib when we got to Dallas. She wasn’t my soulmate but she was one of the best experiences in my life. Stayed with her 3 days , made it home eventually.

If I had seen this a month ago, my new kitten's name would have been Batjac! (Which coincidentally, was the name of John Wayne's production company which, among other films, made The Green Berets!)
