Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

Core temp stays up, so extremities can be less encumbered while still warm. Same principle as wearing heavy insulated tall bib overalls without a jacket while working outside in very cold weather. Head covering usually helps, especially as middle age overtakes.

Pretty mild winters down here on the gulf coast. I wear a vest a lot at work. Being a welder, it helps not having all the bulk from a jacket on my arms and doesn't bind you up as much in awkward positions.

I can usually throw on a couple layers under my coveralls with the vest and I'm good down to the 40's. After that, break out the jacket and the bibs.
Well, I guess I should try it then. Makes sense.

And rules, just got these in at our store. Just irritates us they won't do certain flavors in the powder form. This is our go to electrolyte supplement.

I know we like to have fun, but this is a very serious issue and the pain of raising one can be a very great burden. I know this is the bear pit and I'll probably be mocked for being a sensitive hippie, but the trauma of having to raise one can be very taxing and is a 24/7 commitment of love and work that has no equal. We should really not make fun of people with special conditions. Remember that these special needs children are a gift from God and we need to care for them with all our heart and soul.

My daughter is a cowboys fan....
I'm sorry for your loss.

Several years ago, I ordered a LaRue 6.5G FDE. As soon as I got it home, my wife claimed it. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, the night of rifle deer season opener, I was trying to decide what gun I was taking the next day and she suggested I take the 6.5G. WTH, I pulled it out of the safe and took it out the next morning.

10 minutes after 1st light, a 6 point came out. I got the crosshair on him, and click!! WTF, I never checked to see it a round was chambered. He looked around, and went back to his business. I very slowly chambered a round. Click!! I never made sure the bolt was all the way forward. He looked around, and went back to his business again. I chambered another round, this time using the F/A, and BANG!! 3rd time was the charm!!

Apparently one was nuked on a runway. The other is still flyable, but was seized by the Canuckistanians. Like, what, do they even know how to fly planes? Seems like they caved and gave it back to Putin. Probably the French Canadians.

Not the same aircraft. There are quite a few AN-124 in service. The AN-224 is what got destroyed. There is a very subtle difference between them. That is, if you ignore the fact that the AN-224 has 6 engines instead of 4 and 2 bloody huge vertical fins on the end of the stabilizer...
