If people don’t like how their federal tax monies, of which the majority comes from income tax, are being spent. Why do people keep paying them? All it would take is some organization, and some people willing to suffer in the short term.
The truth is, at least my opinion, the majority are too comfortable in their life to risk it. Autistic screeching at me over a $10 per year to Israel comment and gonna do nothing but raise your blood pressure, solves nothing.

You don't "pay" your income tax. The government "with holds" your money before you even get a chance to see it.
Sure - you can ask . . . nicely . . . in April and they might give some of it back to you - sorry, no interest paid that could have been earned while they had your money.
We usually send more in April.
