I love how it is becoming more common to see them now.
We have some nesting near us somewhere and occasionally one flies over. SUCH an amazing feeling, since as a kid, these guys were SUPER rare to see. Gives me the feel goods to see an animal come back from the brink of danger like this. Gives me hope for humanity..

See them around here at times. Had one snag a fish in the river about 100’ from my kayak several years back. Amazing birds.
