The start/deep cycle combo should work well and the threaded studs make the winch connection cleaner.

Don't use the threaded connection for the winch, they are only connected to the positive post by a thin copper strap. A winch will draw more power than they can withstand on a long hard pull.

Guess it’s hard to see but there is a 1/4-3/8” thick poured lead connection between them.
