Funny what you learn on the Hallmark Channel

So, I'm watching a murder mystery on the Hallmark channel. I typically don't watch the Hallmark channel since it's generally directed toward women but a murder mystery is a murder mystery. Part of the plot is that the body, found in a car, was just not burned, it was cremated. The car showed signs of catastrophic melting as well. The explanation was that, of all things, THERMITE was employed to destroy the evidence. While the Medical Examiner didn't give the exact formula, he did name the compnents. I'm like..is this the Military Channel I'm suddenly watching or what?
