can anyone share any information about fusion 1911's good or bad. trying to do some research before laying down the cash. thanks

From what I've read they seam to be a very solid company. Bob seems to be a very customer oriented man and they put out some nice pistols that aren't hard as on the wallet as some others.

Check on glocktalk.com in the 1911 forum. There is a guy there who is a huge 1911 collector. I also remember a long thread that dealt with some issues with Fusion and specifically with Bob Serva's customer service. This was a couple years ago, so it is hard to say how the company is run now.

I had Bob build me one couple years back.... 10 months later I had a very nice pistol that shot awesome... He always answered my e mails and phone calls in a very reasonable time frame, and was a great guy to work with... I would order anothe, but the wait almost killed me last time, so I keep trying to find someone selling a bobtail on gb for less than a million bucks.

thanks again for the replys. i know im commiting blasphemy but i dont really like a .45 so my 1911 choices are limited. thats is why i am intrested in fusion.

I have a Fusion hunter long slide in 10mm and love it.Its put together flawless.
