haven't weighed the .308, but the larger one, the barrel and action by themselves come in at around 9-9.5 lbs

Can you tell me a bit about the back end of the stocks? like what cheek rest that is? I was looking at the B&C A2 or A3 and was looking at a cheek rest like that.

for final clarification:

Left rifle is a Remington 40x in .22lr. It has a 28" barrel, and weighs a metric buttload

Rifle on the right is a Remington 700 in .308 with a 21.75" barrel.
