I thought I found the Holy Grail. A 20 moa Ruger SA base that mounts the same way the Ruger rings mount to the receiver. Wrong!
What I got was a base (thats nicely made) that requires you to have the receiver drilled and tapped. They had come this far, why not make it mount to the receiver in the same fashion that the factory rings mount?
It got shipped back out to them today. I called and they said they need to edit the web site to state it requires the receiver to be drilled and tapped.
I guess I'm gonna need to get a set of THESE & a set of Burris Signature rings to get 20 moa.
