I just bought one. It has the night sites and looks as new. The only wear I could find was a bit at the front of the slide. I have struggled with the idea of getting one of these because I have only average hands and the grip is cumbersome. But I am going to play with it and see if I can get used to it. If not, I may try the grip reduction.

It is a neat platform for 13 rounds of pow-pow.

Re: G 21

the bigger grip is why I went with the 21 some 15 years ago , I wanted the more rounds but the smaller frame diden't fit my hand well (I got big dick beaters) and the 10mm ammo was crazy expensive.

I have never once regretted getting the G-21

Frame is the same on G20 and G21.

Re: G 21

I love my G21. Mine had a slight grip reduction when I bought it. IIRC the smith who did it was in Houston. I was a little hesitant to purchase since I couldn't hold it first (GB) but the seller offered a 3 day, no-fire inspection. The reduction feels great and it was a helluva price for pistol and two hi-cap mags so I kept it. It was so lightly used that the factory lube was still present.

Re: G 21

My G21 fits me perfectly, but I have gorilla hands. I even conceal IWB the G21 in the summer.

Anyhow, you'll get used to the grip, and if you prefer to get the grip reduction, there are plenty of smiths out there who'll be glad to do the work for you.

The G21 is a fantastic gun. Its absorbed a lot of scratches, sweat, and rust from happening to my 1911's, so I am grateful.
