I've always used G1 in my ballistic calculations, but have read that G7 might be better. I have recently changed my settings in my Ballistic FTE program and they seem to provide more accurate information based on my shooting and Chrono speeds.

Anyone like to add thier thoughts? Thanks.

A G7 B.C. with a boattail bullet will give you a closer computation of the terminal velocity at longer distances, which may be important if you're deciding to take a particular shot based on whether the bullet will still be supersonic.
