What bc form do u all use.ive only used g7 because it supposed to represent a bt bullet. It not that I've had trouble with using it, but I see ax lot of guy using the g1 also. What's your thoughts and reseason why u use one or othet

You answered your own question. G7 more closely replicates the projectiles we typically use in long range precision. G1, not so much.

It doesn’t matter until you get pretty far out. G1 and G7 will get you the same place inside 1500.

Most of the “g7 is better” is just people restating what they heard somewhere.

G1/G7 is pretty 2010-2012

Buy into a system that has drag data for your specific bullet instead of a value rated against a do it all model.

Doesn't matter. Coldbore and FFS both use G1 and excellent solvers for ELR.

G1 and G7 BCs for a particular bullet refer to the respective aerodynamic drag models applied based on the corresponding “standard projectile” shapes. The G1 shape resembles a flat-based bullet whereas the G7 shape resembles a modern boat tail VLD bullet. Banded BC models work better where available, but you'll get even better results from an accurate custom drag model, so if the latter two aren't available, then use the correct G[x] model based upon your bullet's shape. It matters though the effect could be small based upon your shooting distance.
