Hi everyone. I've got a Glock 24 in 40 S&W and I would like to convert it to shoot 9mm. I've found the barrel, but I'm not sure what size of recoil spring I would have to change to in order to have it feed correctly. Is anyone running this setup or know what size the 17L recoil spring is?

    Thanks in advance.

All full size Glock 9/40 use the same recoil spring, Glock controls slide speed by weight, so in other words Glock 17 17L 22 24 34 35 use the same exact recoil spring, my advice is to avoid Lone Wolf barrels and get a KKM, my G35 with KKM conversion barrel functions flawlessly with a 15lb recoil spring.

I have a Lone Wolf 40 -> 9mm conversion barrel as well, and it works well (with 9mm mags, obviously). Regarding the spring, I can't really say... I have a Sprinco unit in mine, and while the off-the-shelf 15lb spring rate works well with .40, I have been getting the occasional "short stroke" when running 9mm. I replaced the 15lb spring with a 13lb spring (per Sprinco's recommendation) for use with a suppressor, and it now cycles 9mm very well, both suppressed and unsuppressed.

Oh, and mine is the G24-length slide, too.
