Rifle Scopes g7 scopes by Nightforce

Anybody seen these yet?
The guys that have the spin off show of "best of the west" dropped the huskemaw and went to a g7 Nightforce.
How much do you think they added/changed?
reticlue, and custom turrets?

This is interesting,but for the $1894 they're asking,I'd just get a NF labeled one.It does say it's made by NF for G7 though...Goodshootin'

Meh . . . it's old, uninteresting news

You'd be better off buying a 100% Nightforce. Less money, and you'd get to keep the illumination option. You'd also get to pick standard adjustment and reticle options.

These G7 guys seem to imply that a long-range hunter armed with this scope will be 1000 yard capable just because of a custom BDC turret and reticle. Gimmie a break.

It's just a standard NF with a custom turret installed. Which if you change anything about the environment you are shooting in will change your trajectory. IMO, it makes the overall product worse! The custom turret locks you into set environmental conditions. If those conditions change, then you trajectory will change. With standard turrets, you dial in your dope. With the custom turrets, you would have to "guess" for this adjustment.

Any custom ballistic turret installed on your scope is an uneducated and lazy way of shooting long range (600+ yards).
