I searched the forums before asking so and could not find any info.
I received my GAP-10 in .308 with 18" barrel yesterday. I am going to buy the components to reload for this beauty and need some advice please.
I am looking at Lapua brass and their Scenar 167 or 185 grain bullets. Thoughts or suggestions?
Also powder and primers preferred and any or data/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a pretty good arrangement with a friend, I do his computer maintenance and he reloads for me. I told him I would see what I could find out as a starting point for the GAP-10.
As always thanks for the help!

Re: GAP-10 .308 loads

Try Sierra's match loading for their 168 and/or 175gr bullet.

Since you are asking for guidance, buy a Wilson Case Gauge or RCBS Precision Mic and check your brass for chamber dimension. Resize no more than .003" or even .0025" from your fired case dimension. Any closer to minimal resizing and you might have problems. Autoloader, unless a pure bench shot gun, will need clearance to function reliably.

Start with the recommended Sierra best performing target load for your bullet. Might even call their tech line. Probably looking at IMR4064, Varget, or maybe Reloader 15. I like Winchester lg rifle primers, but stick with their recipe in every detail. Probably better off trying Winchester brass or 1x Lake City.

Of course, can always call GA Precision and ask them what has proven to be most accurate and reliable...

Good luck~!
