Gap-10 Owners did you do your barrel break in or not?

Curious as to how many Gap-10 owners did the barrel break-in or just went out and shot it? Seems like a long drawn out break in to me.

I'm not one of you fortunate guys that are lucky enough to own a gap10 but I'm not convinced on the smoke and mirrors of "barrel break in" if anybody disagrees please chime in

Not a gap owner but i do have a LMT,,, just clean the rifle and make sure the chamber is clean when you first get it.... Then go to town... Clean after shooting.... Enjoy the rifle. No break in with my LMT

Just went out and shot it ... and during my zeroing it shot a 1/4 minute group with an audience.

You're supposed to clean barrels ?

that's great, I haven't had a chance to shoot mine yet, just got the optics about 2 weeks ago. some match ammo last week. My plan is to go ahead and follow their break in process

I didn't break mine in and it was just fine. Break-ins are for cheap barrels and George only puts the instructions in there because if he didn't people would constantly call and ask how to do it anyways. Go out and shoot it... lol

I always clean a rifle when I get it and then I just shoot it. I have AIs, GAPs and Surgeon rifles including a GAP AR10 and have done this with all of them and they all shoot great.
