Thinking about getting a GAP-10 in .260 or 6.5CM. I have a DPMS SASS and Armalite AR-10T was thinking about just getting an upper from GAP or should I get another complete rifle?

Re: GAP-10

Ummm......complete rifle. What kind of question is that?

Re: GAP-10

I don't think a GAP-10 upper is compatible with your existing lowers. If you got just an upper from them it would need to be a conventional upper and handguard like what they used to build.

Re: GAP-10

I don't think GAP machines their own lowers. Maybe wrong, but the look alot like POF billet lowers and rail systems. A precision AR rig can be built by anyone with a few tools. Just about everyone is making drop in barrels now Noveske= Pac Nor, Krieger, Shilen, and many more. I'm sure MSTN would be glad to engage in any accuracy competition with one of their builds, and John Noveske I know is up to the task. I'd be willing to bet H over at AR performance would and has taken his 6.8's up against the Grendels.
And he's referring to the "upper" and the "gun" its self...The lower.

The Gap 10 will only go on the POF, Hogan or Gaps lower. I bought a CMMG lower and I am having GA build me a complete upper. They said it will not pin together due to the pin. One is slightly larger and you would have to take off some of the hard anodized finish and will hinder the longevity of the metal. So I bought a POF lower.
