GAP 308 Question

I purchesed this about 3yrs ago. My question is if I try to re sell it, how do I know what work was done on it from GAP. When I got it a guy was selling it for his friend, and back then I did not even ask what work was done, or what barrel was put on it. I got a really good deal!!! so I snatched it up, and it is a shooting machine. I know the lug is a Badger, Tac bolt handle, Gap insignia on the barrel. I really have not put a lot of rounds through it.

Try calling GAP & give them the serial number of the rifle - maybe they still have the work order for the rifle on file??

they keep pretty good records, just call them

I will try tomarrow thanks I did not think they would still have all the record, I cant imagine all the rifles that were built since then, thanks

I called Ken several times to find out details on my GAP, Ken never had any luck finding out any details for me. I gave them the serial number and the original owner's name, and who built the rifle at Gap, but no information was ever turned over to me.

He (Ken) did try though, and emailed me to tell me he couldn't track down the info.

If its older than 4 years we dont have any of the Records here at the shop. If its 4 years or newer we would need the original owners name and a serial #

Thanks George, I dont have orig: owners name serial # yes well it seems as though it has all the bells.
