I received my GAP 338LM build around christmas and think i have finally worked up a load that will make me smile all day long.

The rifle is a templar action, Badger M5 CIP, 28 inch MTU 9.5 twist Bartlein barrel with Badger brake, sitting in a MCM A5 with KMW adjustable check. I have an SB PMII 5x25 MSR scope in Badger rings.

Over the last few months I have been working up loads with H1000 and retumbo and shooting 300 grain Scenars or 300 grain Berger OTMs. I was getting 1/2 MOA with the Scenars and was hopeful the Bergers could serve me better. I was finally able to find some Bergers last month and began my quest for the perfect load.

I shot the below group at 300 yds this morning with the following recipe:

Lapua brass, Fed215m primer, 93.5 grains of retumbo, Berger 300 grain OTM pills, sitting .01 off the lands.

The velocity stated above is with the scenars, i will be chronoing the bergers tomorrow.

I was .01 off the lands but cannot remember the exact COAL, i will check tonight when i get home. If the weather is decent tomorrow, i will have the numbers for the bergers tomorrow afternoon.

So you're .14" further out than I am. I'm running TRG42 mags and that's as long as I can go and mag feed. (edt: Actually I'm touching at mag length so I back off .013") Thanks! Oh, and did you get any numbers off the Bergers?
