Gap at the bottom of mag bottom metal.

I have Rem 700 SPS that I put into Bell & Carlson light tactical stock yesterday and torqued to 65 inch/lb.
The rifle seats fine, but there is about a 1mm gap at the bottom of magazine floor plate.
The rifle has the standard DBM system. Nothing aftermarket.
Is this normal and won't affect the functionality?
