GAP Crusader On The Way

Hey All, I Just want to share some good news. In approximately 3 to 5 months I'll have a GAP Crusader in my hands

!!! Here are some of the specs:

Chambered for .308 Win
Templar SA
Barrel 20" Bartlein Stainless Steel 5R Rifling #7 G.A.P. Contour with 1:11.25 twist OD color
Threaded for a suppressor w/Thread protector
AICS 2.0 Chassis in FDE Color
Templar 1 piece 20 MOA Scope Base

Looking at topping it off with a Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 w/.25 MOA, Zero Stop with the MLR2 Reticle and either Burris XTR or Badger rings. Harris 6"-9" bipod w/pod-loc.

Thanks for listening

Re: GAP Crusader On The Way

Seeing as how the Nightforce F1 is the only one with the MLR2 reticle why not get 0.1 mrad adjustments and do it right from the start? Also why not use the UL rings that come with the scope? The NF rings are better than Burris and on equal footing with the Badgers.

All in all it sounds like a great package and it will surely be a good shooter.

Re: GAP Crusader On The Way

I have a Crusader .308 with muzzle break on order too. Should be here shortly (ordered December 20). I got the NightForce NSX 5.5-22x50 HS zero-stop NP-R2. My scope did not come with mounting rings. Gap does supply rings with their rifle. Philip.

Re: GAP Crusader On The Way

You've got a nice stick coming. You'll be very happy with that barrel. I've got a Bartlein canted rifling barrel on my .260 Improved. It is the easiest cleaning barrel I've ever owned....and so far...the most accurate.

Congrats...Post pics when you get it,
