If you call Bartlein, they should be able to tell you more specifics on the TR contour. I spoke with them yesterday regarding barrel contour questions and they were very helpful.

thanks, GAP's site is all, info wise, i could find on the net. i just sent them an email, all i really wanna know is what the barrel thickness is after that first tapper.

Pretty sure it is a med/heavy Palma. It is not a varmint as you can see the double taper after the shank.

I had one. Definatley bigger than a Varmint/ Sendero profile .

It's a modified Rem. Varmint contour. Longer breech end (+1.5") a .900 muzzle @ 22" / 23" blanks. With the .900 muzzle at 22" it has less taper from the neck to the muzzle than a standard Rem. varmint.

I'm gone on vacation now for a week so I'm not at work but everything else should be the same including the neck and the taper of the neck etc....
