I wonder if anyone knows how to setup left-twist barrels in the Garmin 701?
I have LH 7T Bartlein's that I need to setup.
I've tried running the barrel twist setting to a -7.00 thinking that might do it. But it still calculates SD as though it were a RT.
Thanks,
-dlw

Yes. the SD correction shows a left hold whether I set twist at 7.00 or -7.00

AJ and Corlilis is off.
Wind is Zero

Garmin701 about shows:
GPS: 2.30
B Core Build: 45
AB Database: 787

V2.80 Rel (e6b08fd)
701 V?

Range is 1577yds
Spin Drift is .37L with either 7 or -7 twist.

Doc,
Are you saying that when you input the twist as a negative that the solution reflects a left twist barrel?
If so, should I try resetting my Garmin or what do you recommend?

That is correct. We can try to re-create the error to see if it is a bug. I attempted this on mine and it functioned properly. Also please check and make sure SD and AJ are turned on.

I have tried it every which way. With AJ on or off the SD still only reflects a RH twist.
Before I got my LT barrels I think I had tested this with negative twist and it worked. But I’ve updated my unit since then.
