Took delivery of a 701 yesterday and having a few issues setting it up and understanding what it can and cannot do.
I use a Mac and have downloaded the AB Profile Loader, to get it to work I have also downloaded Parallels Desktop 14 top emulate Windows 10. First problem I had was that I could not transfer files between the Mac and the Garmin and the Garmin to Mac, I think I've sorted that issue out now by selecting the destination folder for transfers from the top righthand corner of AB Profile Loader.
When selecting a CDM rather that a G1 or G7 model the BC defaults to 1.0 (note on AB Profile Loader says this is the default for the Kestrel Sportsman) even though I've selected the Garmin when opening the profile loader. On the Garmin it also displays a BC of 1.0 in the 'Profile' under the Bullet Database, is that correct and is the BC being used actually 1.0 or is the CDM being used but the actual values hidden?
Next question is can the elevation and windage increments on the Garmin be set to scope click values rather than actual MOA/MIL, the AB Phone App allows this but I cannot see how to get the Garmin to do the same.
Does anyone know if there is an update planned for the Garmin to allow range data from a Terrapin X to be 'linked' by Bluetooth?
