Some information found somewhere in this thread.

When the sync process is interrupted by the app inexplicably getting stuck on "connecting," certain Shot Sessions can be tagged as having been "synced" and will be removed from the queue.

As a result, the app will refuse to download them from the chronograph - and thusly, one cannot email themselves their *.csv files for record - keeping.

Thus far, Garmin has not rectified the issues with Shot Sessions being dropped from the sync process.

Data is stored in Metric by default.

For those wishing to preserve the original format in their spreadsheets in both Metric and Imperial, there is a roundabout way...

Connect the chronograph to your console and navigate to the subdirectory "Shot_Sessions."

It behaves like a USB drive.

Each Shot Session is an individual file, indexed by its time stamp.

Use one of several methods to view the *.fit files.

Couldn't get the first one to work, but the online one's just fine.

Copy the relevant information onto Notepad to strip the formatting, then paste the information into Excel, which recognizes the spacing and preserves tabulation.

It's just awesome that the data remains tabular.

Otherwise, this task would have been a royal pain.

Copy the layout from prior successfully synced Shot Sessions, and substitute values from latest *.fit files.

Don't forget to enter the projectile mass.

Note: As stated previously, measured values stored are in Metric.

To fill in the Imperial sheets, there's a way of directly porting values from one worksheet to another - but for now we'll use a simpler, more direct method for the sake of illustrating how it's done.

Convert m/s to f/s. Copy (Ctrl + C) 3.28084 (number of feet in a meter) > Select velocities > Right Click on selected velocities > Paste Special > select Radio Buttons as above > OK

Only the Kinetic Energy and Power Factor formulae differ slightly from their Metric versions.

There's probably a simpler, more streamlined way of doing things - but I hope this provides at the very least the basic information needed for such.

I would very much prefer that Garmin simply got the app to sync things properly.
