Gas port size

Ok so i am stepping into the SBR world. I have a 6.8spc 16 inch that i would like to take it 10 inch. So what would be an appropriate gas port size for this length? I will not be doing any work until i get my stamp so don't worry. I am also running a piston on this so any thoughts on this setup.

The best bet would be to call the Manufacturer of the piston kit. They have done extensive testing and will give you a good starting point...
