Gunsmithing Gas Tube Roll Pins

I ordered a YHM low profile gas block to replace the front sight block on my AR15 barrel. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a roll pin, and to order another one would cost me $6 in shipping for a $0.99 pin.

Do hardware stores carry roll pins or something along those lines?

A well stocked hardware store should have something that will work.
You need a 5/64" by 5/16" long pin.
A longer pin will work too, you just may need to shorten it some depending on your gas block.
The diameter is the important thing.

Can I reuse the roll pin that was holding the gas tube into the front sight block? Or are those one time use deals?

Should be able to use it, I've taken them off before and put them right back on after installing a FF tube. I 've seen no ill effects.

No problem re-using the roll pin. In armorers class, we drove that pin in and out of the FSB 3 times a day for 3 days. The only time any pin was replaced was when it was lost. They were always tight.
