The ATF approved it although under dubious (call that ridiculous) design constraints. "intended to assist persons whose hands have limited mobility to 'bump-fire' an AR-15 type rifle". The sellers were trying to make this a device for the handicapped? We all know what bump firing is but what does that mean to the government? I'm not so sure that's well defined from a legal standpoint. So now, what if the owner is not handicapped and purchases one with the intent to simulate automatic fire with the aide of a device intended for those with limited mobility? Nope I don't like that letter one bit.

It was the spring that ATF didn't like. They declared teh spring to be the unregistered machine gun. Owners were required to send the spring in to ATF, not the stock. They could keep the stock.

There is no spring on this new device. Your weak arm serves as the spring, and how is ATF going to require you to register your arm?

This is actually cool little addition to have some fun. there is no point to it then to waste lots of ammo, really fast... hell I don't even use the 'burst' in my M4, there is no need... but when we go to the range to have fun or we brought too much ammo with us, and need to 'get rid of it' burst is lots of fun

It's people like you that are responsible for separate classifications for firearms. A gun is a gun is a gun is a gun. One rule, Gun = Legal. Breaking it down into SBR, Full Auto, SBS, Hand Gun. All ways to regulate.

SO, my point is...who gives a fuck what color my pants or jacket are? Pants are pants are pants are pants.
I wear TRU's pants (in a variety of colors) because they are comfortable and are chuck full of pockets. I can at least shoot with some level of dignity if I'm wearing practical attire when I'm at the range. Trust me, I'd rather roll out of bed and go shoot in sweat pants, but judgmental people like you would just classify me as a mall ninja if I did.

I own camo patterns because I hunt in them. Judging a book by it's cover doesn't make you right, it just makes you an ass hole.

I can promise that I am not gay and I do own one of these stocks. Its the only reason I still own an AR. The thing works, and is just as accurate and controllable than firing a select fire weapon. I have already got a few thousand rounds through this thing and have fired tens of thousands of rounds in select fire weapons. For some reason it does not work well with my beta mag, but runs flawlessly with 30 rounders. $350 is cheap for a working class man, when you think about the several thousand it costs to own a registered weapon that is now atleast 25 years old.

Its fun to shoot, but by no means is intended for a serious operator in combat use. Like all the queers say " Dont knock it til you try it"

When I served the only time 3 rnd burst was used was to allow the saw gunner to reload or during break contact. The squad leader would have two guys go burst to lay down suppressive fire and have the saw gunner reload. Side note I never saw any war time action.

That said I wonder if President Reagan had the ability of single line item veto at the time if he would have used it. As Gov. of CA he signed the Mulford Act. Also, I think it was despicable the way Charles Rangel allowed an amendment that banned machine guns to a bill without having a vote on the amendment.

Although I would never purchase this stock I can see why someone would want to purchase to simulate a machine gun. This stock will probably be banned soon as the BATFE sees the video.

I have talked to the firearms technology branch at the ATF about the stock and they said it is Kosher. I don't need one because I can legally build FAs

There are a lot of people out there that do want one. When zombies (or occupy Wall Street) attacks, FA may make them fall and scatter a little faster. It is funny how sensitive people get when GAY and FIREARMS are mentioned in the same thread. I enjoyed the youtube clips.
