Gday Everyone,

I just thought Id say hi to everyone on this awesome website.

Im just getting back into shooting after a long break. Ive done a fair bit of bench shooting but never had the opportunity to do much LR/ELR in the field, which I hope to change.

Ive just purchased a Remington 700 chambered in 223 to start my licence off again .. but I have to wait 4 months to get the thing, after that Im hoping to pick up a 308 or 338.

Im enjoying all the info and the expertise on here, its a great forum.

Spot on, our waiting times/licencing periods are just ridiculous.

Yeah the 338 is a bit of a pipe dream, but Im hoping I might be able to swing one with the help of a few friends.

Everyone needs a dream I guess. Last I heard they're confiscating previously licensed shrouded air rifles becasue their way too dangerous for civilians to own.
