Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so long?

For years I have had 2 Colt 6920 lowers that have worn every upper from varmint to HK 416. One of the dreaded curse of the Colts is the larger, non mil-spec trigger and hammer pins. Geiselle has recently made availalbe a version of their Hi-speed DMR trigger available.

I figured since I am finally going to dedicate one lower to my 416 upper, and the other into a spr/dmr type and leave them both be; I should have a proper trigger for once. I went with the Geiselle. And all I can say is:

WOW, where has this been all of my life? With the Kreiger barrel being made I have nothing but high hopes for this new project.

If you have an AR, and need a new trigger, spend the coin. It's worth it.

+1 Unless you have an aversion to 2-stage triggers, this is the one to get!

Re: Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so long?

I have the ssa.......non-adjustable but still the best ar trigger I have ever felt and, frankly, it breaks about as crisp as some jewells I have used.

Re: Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so long?

There's a lot of talk about American Trigger's new Gold trigger for the AR's. I've got Rock River NM triggers in mine that I spent a bit of time tuning, but they work extremely well. Unfortunately, I've since heard some reliability issues with the RR's, so I'm looking to replace. Definitely a price jump into the Geiselle or Gold, but I'm sure it's well worth it.

Re: Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so l

I have two Geiselle DMR's in my AR's. I said the same thing, what took me so long to get them. I love those triggers but they are expensive...

Re: Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so l

I hear that the Geiselle and the KAC are kick ass as far as triggers go. But I have had really awesome luck with the RRA NM trigger and have turned in some very respectable groups in my precision AR with one. Please let us know how it does after you get the krieger barrel.

What do you want to use it for? I think for a SPR style rifle the DMR is probably the best but if it's for a carbine or fighting gun I'd go for the SSA. The springs in the Match, Service and DMR can be swapped out as well.

Re: Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so l

From what I've read/found Geissele triggers are adjustable for weight of pull (first stage:1 to 3-1/2 lbs./second stage: a few ounces to 3-1/2 lbs., sear engagement and overtravel).

Not sure if this is the same for all their triggers though......

Re: Geiselle AR trigger........why did I wait so l

The products page on the Geissele web site isn't working.

The only ones I can find info on (Brownells, Midway, LARue) are all adjustable ones.

Why not give them a call on 610 272 2060? Believe you need to speak to Amy
