Suppressors Gem tech?

Re: Gem tech?

I have a Gemtech HVT - great suppressor and Gemtech has great customer support as well. If you hurry they have a sale on right now and they will pay the tax transfer. That is a 200 dollar savings.

Re: Gem tech?

I currently own a few gemtech suppressors.

None of them are "great". Only one has been terrible (I sold it to someone else who knew it was a bad can). The Blackside .45ACP is the only one I've hated... multiple calls to Gemtech never relieved the problems on a multitude of hosts.

Most of them are "ok" or "good" cans.

Gemtech used to be top of the line. And the Sandstorm is pretty darn good now. They are trying to come back and do better. IMO, they rode on the wave of their success years ago for a while and lagged behind of some companies producing better cans for a few yesars and only recently are trying again to produce good quality cans. This last paragraph is all "opinion", but it is backed by experience.

The Sandstorm is a good can... it is the only one that I would say is a real competitor in the marketplace right now... all of their other cans have something better IMO out there.

So, I personally would put a different can on your FNAR than a gemtech can, but it REALLy depends on what criteria you want the can to focus on.

I can make a case for the sandstorm for different missions, but in many cases I lean towards another .308 can...
