I can’t decide between a gen2 razor ebr7c or 7-35 mk5 pr2. I’ve always wanted to have all matching reticles and the razor would accomplish that but I’ve never had a mk5. I love love loved the razor turret infinite zeroing system and I have played with a mk5 turret but I just can’t decided.

Depends on which attributes of each scope are more important to you. I have both (although 5-25 Mk5) and they're both great optics. The Gen II is illuminated, the Mk5 isn't. The Gen II weighs 48oz, the Mk5 30oz. Depends if you want the higher upper mag of the Mk5 or lower bottom end of the Gen II, both reticles are similar. Both have great turrets with very different but very effective zero stops. I prefer the locking windage on the Gen II to the capped windage on the Mk5 but that's pretty minor.

If you value standardizing reticles, go Gen 2. If you want to try something new, go MK5.

If you can’t decide, buy both.

I really like the MK5 turret, fwiw.
